FILM REVIEW: GLASS

Unlike its predecessors and despite its huge marketing campaign , Glass (2019) doesn’t reach expectations at all and lacks a sufficient conclusion of the trilogy that started more than 18 years ago.

M. Night Shyamalan has shown in the past that success and failure are divided by only a thin line and that too high expectations can make the result even worse. It is no surprise that the expectations for Glass (2019) were enormous after the critical and financial successes of both Unbreakable (2001) and Split (2017), a film trilogy that started more than 18 years ago, divided by both great and terrible films the so-called Wunderkind directed in the meantime.
